Cultivating An Attitude of Gratitude

Hello,

For those in the USA, I wanted to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

No matter where you call home, I'm thankful for the Lord and you!

For all of us - no matter where we live, I pray that we truly cultivate an attitude of gratitude all year through and below are two brief encouragements related to having a mindset of thankfulness, gratitude and praise!

Also, check out this brief video prayer of thanksgiving unto the Lord via Instagram or Facebook:

Gratitude Part 1:

God is worthy of your praise, thanksgiving and devotion!...and His love endures for you endures forever!

He is worthy of devoting your life to Him serving Him with a whole heart, mind, soul and spirit!

When you pray...praise and thank Him for all that He's done and all He continues to do in and through you!

Praise Him through every season! Through the seasons of peace and the seasons of storms.

Don't wait for holidays or some other special occasion to praise and thank Him! Make it a habit and again as I've shared before...have an attitude of thanksgiving and gratitude!

When you take your first breath in the morning and open your eyes...breathe out thanksgiving to Him for life and a new day to serve Him!

Never stop singing and speaking His praises!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We all have much to be thankful for!
Take time today to focus on counting your Blessings instead of your troubles and give especially your loved ones a hug and share words of encouragement and thanksgiving with everyone around you!
Especially take time to give thanks to the Lord for He Is Good!

Have a great day everyone!

Thanksgiving: Day 19

I'm thankful again to have a roof over my head especially when it's stormy (windy and rainy) outside! I'm mindful of the fact that others aren't as fortunate to have a home and my heart and prayers goes out to them this Thanksgiving. I pray that the opportunity to permanently find a path off the streets will come to them soon!

What are you thankful for? Leave a comment to encourage others!

Blessings,

Thank You Sonrise Church!

Last week brought my pastoral internship to a close and I'm sending out a big THANK YOU to the pastors, the other leaders and people of Sonrise Church for the opportunity to learn, serve, grow and contribute over this last almost year!!

It's been a privilege to rotate through almost every area of ministry which has allowed me to learn more about the DNA of Sonrise while also getting to meet, know
and serve the leaders and many of the people of Sonrise Church!

Thank you for your investment of time in me showing me how things work as well as for sharing your passion for your areas of ministry and most of all for sharing your passion for The Lord, His people and the community we live in!

This has been a fantastic part of my journey and I will look back on this time with deep fondness.

Thanks and many blessings!!

Sincerely,

rlk

Clergy Appreciation Month

October is clergy appreciation month and let me encourage you to take time to send a note of encouragement via a card, email, or in person to the shepherds and other staff at your church. Or, you can also consider making them a special treat, or bring them something for their lunches, a small gift card or other gift, or whatever you think will encourage them by you showing your appreciation.

They are constantly bombarded with so many things and they serve, they shepherd selflessly and your care for them would be much appreciated.

Here's a link to the Clergy Appreciation Month site on ThrivingPastor.com (Formerly Parsonage.com) :

Here's a guide to Clergy Appreciation Month:

Pray for your pastor and staff!

Lastly, let me encourage you to take time to encourage your pastor and staff throughout the year...it doesn't need to be limited to one month out of the year.

God Bless,

For our friends at Harvest Community Church

My family and I attended Harvest for our last regular Sunday and as we depart - I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the opportunity and privilege of serving the Lord and you during the years we were a part of Harvest Community Church.

We're thankful for our time at Harvest and will continue to keep you in our prayers.
We're very excited for what God has in store for us at Antioch Bible Church in service to Him and as we continue to seek to follow His will.

We'll look forward to seeing you from time-to-time around town.

If you have any questions regarding the new ministry God has opened up please feel free to ask me.

Thanks again.

Sincerely in Christ,

RLK on behalf of the Koch Family
