30 Days of Thanksgiving & Gratitude!

My Friend,

Welcome to November 2023!

It's a great month and season to pause and focus on giving thanksgiving and gratitude to God for who He is and all He continues to bless us with!

To help us do just that, I've created a simple 30 Day Calendar of Thanksgiving & Gratitude for you to download and keep electronically or to print out to be a guide this month.

Each day has a scripture listed as a suggestion to read, study, possibly memorize, write out, but most of all, to serve as a prompt as you seek to give thanks and express gratitude to The King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I hope you enjoy this resource and I pray you make time these next 30 days, (and all year through) to express thankfulness and gratitude to The Lord! 🙏🏼

I'm thankful and grateful to God for the honor of serving you!
You're in my prayers!

You're in my prayers. 🙏🏼

Thankfulness...it's really a "thing".

What are you thankful for? Do you make thanksgiving part of your day-to-day or like many, do you relegate this to holidays or special occasions?

It may sound ridiculous to hear that but sadly it's true because some today don't have an attitude of gratitude...they have the opposite of that.

Thankfulness can be found despite the circumstances of a given day or moment.

Thankfulness can be found with each new day because each day provides a fresh new start.

Thankfulness can be found in the beating of your heart and with every breath.

Thankfulness can be found in the rising and setting of the sun as each day is a gift to live out.

Thankfulness can be found in salvation, love and a new life found in the Savior.

Thankfulness is a decision... a mindset... an attitude...a choice.

You can find so many things to be thankful for if you just pause for a moment and look around you...what do you see? You should see a multitude of things to be thankful about.

Maybe you need to periodically take time to pause for a few minutes and write down what you're thankful for instead of what you're ungrateful for?

Don't compartmentalize your thanksgiving. Be thankful daily. Thank others daily. Thank God for the life you've been given and for the people He's blessed and surrounded you with.

Be thankful for the "big" and "small" things in your life because at the end of the day they are all truly big things. Your life, your attitude and your outlook will be far better if you are thankful and appreciate how blessed you truly are!

Here are 8 passages (of the many in God's Word) to help you meditate on regarding thankfulness.

Take time to read, study and pray about these and then go find more in The Word for yourself.

Psalm 95:2-3
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

1 Corinthians 1:4-5
I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge—

2 Corinthians 9:11-12
You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.

1 Chronicles 16:34
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!

Psalm 7:17
I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.

Psalm 100:4
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

Psalm 106:1
Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

1 Thessalonians 5:18
18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Be thankful because God is good and He loves you beyond measure.

Thankfulness is really a thing...just make it your thing!

Thankfully,

Randolph Koch

Cultivating An Attitude of Gratitude

Hello,

Gratitude Part 1:

God is worthy of your praise, thanksgiving and devotion!...and His love endures for you endures forever!

He is worthy of devoting your life to Him serving Him with a whole heart, mind, soul and spirit!

When you pray...praise and thank Him for all that He's done and all He continues to do in and through you!

Praise Him through every season! Through the seasons of peace and the seasons of storms.

Don't wait for holidays or some other special occasion to praise and thank Him! Make it a habit and again as I've shared before...have an attitude of thanksgiving and gratitude!

When you take your first breath in the morning and open your eyes...breathe out thanksgiving to Him for life and a new day to serve Him!

Never stop singing and speaking His praises!

Thinking about Thanksgiving...in the day-to-day

Read: Colossians 3:15-17, Colossians 4:2, Psalm 7:17, Psalm 28:7, Psalm 57:9, Psalm 69:30, Psalm 118:29, Romans 14:6, 1 Corinthians 15:57

Everyday, we have so much to be thankful for and we need to pause and reflect more on this fact.

First and foremost as believers we are thankful to God our Father in Heaven. We should be thankful for His great love in which He sent His Son to die on our behalf providing the way of salvation!

With this, we are thankful for Jesus Christ and for His Spirit - the Holy Spirit actively working in our lives. We can be thankful for even the gift of life itself.

Every breath that you and I take is truly a gift from God. There are so many seemingly mundane things we could thank Him for. So many things that we could make an infinite list in thanksgiving to God about, if we put ourselves to the task of making such a list.

It really comes down to the attitude of our hearts and whether or not we choose to thank God and see His hand in every "little" and "big" aspect of our lives.

Thanksgiving :Day 30

I'm thankful for my Savior, my family and my friends. Thankful that my kids are walking the path they are on and that I've been blessed to be married to their mom for 18 years and have known her for 20. I'm thankful that they help make me a better man each day as I grow as a result of my relationship with them. I'm thankful for the lessons of the past - especially the ones I've learned from and for continued growth opportunities ahead in the future! I'm thankful for the life I've been given and pray that I'll always strive to live it to the fullest. Stay thankful my friends...never stopped giving thanks for what you have as many have much less than you and I do and consider themselves rich. Take time to pause daily and count your many blessings as you continue your journey in this life!

Thankful to have a job where my boss & the team I work for/with seems to value what I bring, what I contribute to the team & for the most part who I am. It's been a long time since I can wholeheartedly say this and I'm thankful.

Thanksgiving: Day 19

I'm thankful again to have a roof over my head especially when it's stormy (windy and rainy) outside! I'm mindful of the fact that others aren't as fortunate to have a home and my heart and prayers goes out to them this Thanksgiving. I pray that the opportunity to permanently find a path off the streets will come to them soon!
